At CAPS Mental Health Foundation, we take immense pride in nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals. Our alumni are making meaningful contributions across India and around the world as psychologists, counselors, researchers, educators, and mental health advocates.
Today, they serve in diverse professional settings, including government organizations, corporate sectors, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, non-profit organizations, and private practice. Their accomplishments reflect the knowledge, compassion, ethical values, and professional excellence cultivated during their journey with CAPS.
As they continue to create positive change in their respective fields, they strengthen our vision of promoting mental well-being and building healthier communities. Their success stories inspire current interns and future professionals to pursue excellence in mental health care.
We celebrate our alumni’s achievements and remain committed to fostering a lifelong network of dedicated professionals working towards a common goal:

CAPS is where I first started my career as a professional psychology counselor. It has expanded my horizon of how I view my work in this field and seen the hopeful opportunities that were given to the students I've worked with. Our team members were not only plugged in as professional employees but also formed a deeper relationship to enhance trust within the team in personal as well as professional level. CAPS was definitely a base foundation to build my confidence and apply my knowledge and passion in this field.

Current Designation- Child Intervention Practitioner
Current organization- Ministry of Child and Family Services, Govt of Alberta
I joined CAPS during my Masters with the intention of doing an internship program. CAPS has been an exceptional training ground for me in my student years. Dr Ashupriya’s mentorship and guidance helped me learn valuable skills and gain confidence in myself as a psychologist. I joined CAPS for professional reasons but also ended up finding long term camaraderie with fellow psychologists within the program. I would recommend the internship program to every student who wishes to find a solid foundation to start their counselling careers!

Current Designation- Counsellor and Special Educator
Current Organization: St. John’s High School, Chandigarh
CAPS was truly the perfect foundation as I stepped into my career after completing my master’s. It didn’t just prepare me professionally — it built my confidence from the ground up and gave me the practical groundwork I needed before starting out. What made it even more special was that the work never felt like just work; it was engaging, fun, and filled with meaningful experiences.
I formed friendships that I truly cherish, and looking back, I can say it was one of the most enriching and fulfilling chapters of my journey.
